Welsh Secretary of State, Alun Cairns, this week discussed the importance of Welsh manufacturing for the British economy.
The MP addressed an audience at the annual Barclays and SPTS Technologies Ltd ‘Voice of Welsh Manufacturing’ event on Monday, outlining the Welsh Manufacturing sector’s strengths.
In his speech he singled out the success of Concrete Canvas Ltd, alongside the likes of Aston Martin and Toyota, and how the company is “revolutionising construction processes by manufacturing concrete on a roll”.
This comes ahead of a visit from Wales’ First Minister, Carwyn Jones, at Concrete Canvas’ Pontypridd site on Thursday.
CC has recently expanded, purchasing a new site in Pontyclun, which the company hopes to move to in early 2019.
