CC is an ideal solution for bund lining and containment applications, providing tested weed suppression and protection against weathering erosion, abrasion and impact from burrowing animals. CC is rapidly installed, with a small logistical footprint, reducing time on site and disruption to operations. CC Hydro™ can be laid directly onto existing profiles without loss of volume capacity and has excellent resistance to a wide range of chemical reagents while also providing clear leak detection visibility.
Prepare the substrate so that surfaces are well compacted, geotechnically stable with a smooth, uniform surface.
It is important to prevent water and wind ingress between the CC and the substrate, both around the perimeter of the installation and along the joints.
It is important to ensure that the CC is jointed at every overlap between layers and that those layers are fixed to the surface.
It is important to properly hydrate CC, using enough water for the quantity of material used and allowing for drying conditions.
